FEB 3 - Library Vote - Please Vote YES
We would encourage all residents of the Timberland Region (Grays Harbor, Thurston, Mason, Lewis and Pacific counties) to consider voting YES on the Timberland Regional Library request to raise the Tax cap rate. We realize that we are in difficult economic times throughout the nation and here in Western Washington, but I think the Timberland Regional Library System is one of the best examples of a government program that actually works VERY well and is a tremendous asset to all the towns and cities in the region. If it wasn't for this co-operative system even some of the larger cities in the region would have small limited libraries. By working together both city and rural libraries benefit from a professional regional system.
