About Rich Ward

I have been involved with computers since the Windows 3.1 days and operated a custom high-security and fire protection system at a highly classified government facility in the late 1980's.  I have over 20 years of experience with computers, technology and corporate  security.

After I successfully transitioned from corporate security into full-time work in the technology field, along came the dot-com crash, and some amount of back-paddling and trying to avoid sinking. 

I now work full-time at a Network Operations Center as a NOC Tech.  This provides me with company benefits and a steady source of income.   It also allows me to run my computer and web business and endure the up/down cycle that accompanies a small business.   However, I do have to be careful not to "bite the hand that feeds me" and so I have developed a non-compete policy.  I also take a partnership approach to many projects which allows me to benefit both my company and the companies I work for.
